1637 as an identured servant to a Stilwell family. He worked for 7 years
to pay for his passage. Mitchell papers provide name, birth-month and year, and a note that a nephew named Arthur Pendley came to Maryland to join his Uncle who was free of his indenture. Arthur arrived in 1665 and died in June 1670 from an Indian attack in western Maryland. No record of marriage or family.
