"I give and bequeath all my leasehold Messuages, Lands and Tenements which I bought and purchased of my Son-in-Law, John Penly, aituatwe, lying and being in the pariashes of Minchinhampton and avening, unto Thomas Browning of Nailsworth in the parish of Horsley, Malster, and thomas Pavey of Woodchester, Gentleman, their executors and Administrators for all such Term or Terms, Estate and Interest as I have therin in Trust to pay the Issues and profitts unto my daughter Rebecca, wife of said John Penly, separate and exclusive of her husband for and during the term of hwer natural life and from and immediately after her decease then in trust to permit and suffer my Grandchildren, thomas Penly, John Penly, william Penly, Joseph Penly and Mary penly and the survivors of them to hold and enjoy my said Leasehold Messuages."

"Also I give all my Cottage Tenement or Dwelling House wherein Thomas Berriman doth nowq dwell, in Nailsworth, unto said Thomas Browing and Thomas Pavey, to pay the rents to my said dauther Rebecca Penly, and then to my grandson, thomas Penly, until he is twenty one, and then to him and his heirs for ever.

I give my Messuage or Tenement (now divided into two Tenement) in one of which Aaron Vizer lives, and the other which William Leonard lives, and my dwelling house wherein Thomas Blackwell now lives, at a place called North Field in the parish of Avening) unto the said thomas Browing and Thomas Pavey, to pay the rents to my said wife, Mary Pavey, and on her decease to my grandson, Thomas Penly"
